Nimbus Dance, in partnership with Mayor James Solomon and the Jersey City Council, is giving away 1,000 tickets to Jersey City families across all six wards!
Selected households will receive two complimentary tickets (one child and one adult companion) to Jersey Nutcracker at the historic Loew’s Jersey Theatre on Saturday, December 19, 2026, at 11 AM or 4 PM.
Who Can Enter?
- Must be a current Jersey City resident.
- Children must be 14 years old or younger.
- Limit one entry per household address.
- Tickets are non-transferable.
Winners will be randomly selected from each of Jersey City’s six wards. Entrants may indicate their preferred performance time, but selections are not guaranteed.

Is it really free?
Yes. Entering is free, and winning tickets are free. There are no fees or purchase requirements.
Who can enter?
Current Jersey City residents with a child 14 or younger at the time of entry. One entry per household address; duplicates are removed.
How do you verify residency and ward?
Ward is assigned by looking up the address you enter on the form.
What do winners get?

Can I choose the 11 AM or 4 PM show?
You can state a preference on the form; Nimbus will do our best to honor your preference, but can’t guarantee first choice of performance time.
How is the drawing done?
Each ward has its own random draw using draw software, and the draw is documented. About 83 households win per ward (500 citywide).
How will I know if I won? Do I need to confirm?
Winners are notified by email on Nov 18 and do not need to confirm. E-tickets arrive by email on Dec 7. Winners are not published in a public list.
