Turn the Lights Up on the Performing Arts in Jersey City! Put on your best gown or tuxedo (gathering dust since pre-pandemic days) and join us in celebration of Nimbus’ debut season at the Nimbus Arts Center!
Masquerade at Nimbus welcomes Jersey City’s elegant audiences for delectable food and drinks, auction, and an intensely beautiful performance from Nimbus Dance. Considered one of Jersey City’s crown artistic jewels, Nimbus showcases a sneak peek of Artistic Director Samuel Pott’s new Raucous Caucus Tango, to premiere in November at NJPAC, in collaboration with Latin Grammy winner Pedro Giraudo, former Jersey City poet laureate Rashad Wright, and New Jersey playwright Alysia Souder.
In a time of uncertainty and upheaval, the arts are a source of unity and inspiration for our community. Masquerade at Nimbus raises funds for the organizations’ extensive community arts programs, serving over 4000 youth each year in the Jersey City School system. Take a stand for the arts, and for Jersey City’s young people, by attending this inspiring evening on October 23rd.
