Emmett Higgins
Emmett Higgins (Orlando, FL) (he/him/his) is a dancer, choreographer, and performer currently based in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated with a BFA in Dance from Florida State University in the Spring of 2025. While at FSU, Emmett had the privilege of performing works by renowned choreographers including Peter Chu, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Dan Wagoner, Caleb Mitchell, and Kara Wilkes. His own choreographic works have also been featured in the university’s Days of Dance concerts. Along with his collegiate experience, Emmett has trained with esteemed artists from Ballet BC, BODYTRAFFIC, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, among others. While finishing his last semester of school, he served as a Company Artist with Pony Box Dance Theatre and performed works by Omar Román de Jesús and Jaime Carabetta during their residency at Vassar College. This is Emmett’s first season with Nimbus.
