Victoria Santaguida
Victoria Santaguida (Toronto,Canada) (she/her/hers) joined the Nimbus staff as Special Projects Coordinator after dancing professionally with the company for eight seasons. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Santaguida began her dance training at age three and completed Advanced II Ballet Examinations of the Cecchetti Technique. She attended summer programs at The Juilliard School, the National Ballet of Canada, the Joffrey Ballet School, and Ballet Hispanico. Santaguida has been featured in works by Gerald Arpino and George Balanchine, as well as original works by Samuel Pott, Yoshito Sakuraba, Africa Guzman, Dwight Rhoden, Roger C. Jeffrey, Dawn Marie Bazemore, Gabrielle Lamb, and Davis Robertson. She has also danced with the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group under the direction of Davis Robertson and with Complexions Contemporary Ballet under the direction of Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson.
Santaguida has been deeply engaged in Nimbus’ education and community programs as a teaching artist and youth ensemble director. She was awarded Teaching Artist of the Year at The School of Nimbus in 2018 and 2023, and continues to serve as the Junior Youth Ensemble Director while teaching ballet and outreach programs throughout Jersey City. In her current role, Santaguida supports Nimbus’ artistic initiatives, community engagement, and cross-departmental projects, bringing a deep institutional knowledge and artist-driven perspective to the organization.
