About the Exhibition
Experience the captivating “Sometimes I Wander” photography exhibition, featuring the extraordinary works of Gordon Parks and Chi Modu, on Saturday, March 16th, at the Nimbus Arts Center in Jersey City. Curated by Cheryl and Christopher Mack of the Bridge Art Gallery, this exhibition invites you to immerse yourself in the compelling imagery captured by two iconic photographers. From Parks’ poignant documentation of 1940’s American life to Modu’s groundbreaking portrayal of hip-hop culture, “Sometimes I Wander” promises to be a journey through time and space, exploring themes of identity, culture, and the human experience. The exhibition begins at 4:30 pm, followed by an insightful panel discussion starting at 5:30 pm. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to engage with the transformative power of photography.
